What kind of website uses the "f" bomb in the title of their posts?

Geez, I finally had to remove the news feed I had on my sidebar of The Superficial. I've noticed a few words that were really iffy but for goodness sakes, I can't have a blog with the "f" word prominently displayed. I can get as down and dirty as the best of them but there is a time and place for it. This blog is not the time or place.

Get a clue The Superficial! If you want to talk smut that's fine and dandy - you are the only celeb trash site I bother to read and I'll continue reading your blog. But leave the nasty words out of your titles and RSS feeds. Dang.

I know I haven't posted in a long time but that's because I was involved in another pastime. (Yes, I got involved with World of Warcraft again! hehe)

Anyway, I think I'll be around a lot more often now, at least until after the first of the year when Vanguard: Saga of Heroes launches. Can't wait!

I found a really neat blog community tool at http://www.mybloglog.com/. It looks like more fun than Myspace!

Edit 02/19/07: I got the chance to beta test Vanguard Saga of Heroes and didn't like it at all. I'm glad I didn't spend the money to buy the game!

Vacation update (and other stuff)

I didn't do all the things I planned to do while hubby was on vacation but we did manage to get a good portion of it done... I feel nice and clean now after cleaning the carpets... I bet I would feel even better if I got rid of some of this clutter!

I don't know why I'm such a pack rat... there must be some deep seated psychological reason for it... I swear I must have about a half dozen boxes and drawers just filled to the brim with electronics stuff, e.g., cables, wires, modems, phones, adapters, you name it, it is in there... and most of it is so jumbled and tangled up it would take hours just to separate it... I told my husband the other day we should just toss every bit of it in the trash and if we need something we'll just go out and buy it new... but have we done that...? heck no, we still have all the crap in boxes in the closet and we never even look in them... *sigh*

I bet I could sell it on eBay but shipping would probably cost more than whatever was bid on it, hehe...

I've learned a lot of new things since setting up this blog and what I learned today was how to set up a cron job!

Something else new that I learned today is the definition of CVS... I've seen it a lot at the http://drupal.org site and didn't know what it meant... it means "The Concurrent Versions System"... so now I know what it is... :)

Why do people blog anyway? I must be the weirdest blogger in the world because I have more fun setting up the blog than I do writing in it.

So now that I pretty much have it set up the way I want it I don't really care whether I write in it or not.

I mainly wanted a site to host the occasional image for my forums (or to host my graphics for posting in other forums) and it works just fine for that.

Okay, I may as well blog something...

So my husband is on vacation all next week...

I hope we get up off our asses for once and get some things done... Usually my husband sits and watches TV all day and I sit on the computer all day (so what else is new? haha) and at the end of the vacation we wonder why nothing got done...

I called Salvation Army to come and pick up 3 old televisions and a 30x60 desk that have been cluttering up the house for heaven knows how long... Unfortunately they can't come until Friday but at least I finally called...

Cat goes to the Vet on Monday to re-check an anal gland rupture that scared me to death - we thought it was cancer! He is doing fine now and has gained back some of the weight he lost so that's a good thing...

what???? ANOTHER web site??? yeah, I need another website like I need a hole in the head... well, maybe I DO need a hole in the head, haha...

I've canceled my World of Warcraft (WoW) subscription so it looks like I'll be moving to my secondary addiction (onling gaming being the first) which is web design... now if only I could channel some of this energy into a way to bring in some income I'd really have it made...

WHY DO I PROCRASTINATE SO BADLY????? We took our cats to the vet this past December and paid $150.00 ($50.00 for each) to have a microchip, er, installed…? But the damn microchip doesn’t do any good if a person doesn’t fill out the paperwork and send it in…! My God, get up off your ass and get that done and mailed…
